So I was going through my phone trying to clear up some old images and I came across a picture of myself sometime back in 2012. I had a pretty stressful job then which requires me to work long hours so I hardly have time or energy to get any exercise done. I feel tired, fat and I had given up on trying to be slim. It was just too difficult to maintain a ‘clean’ diet when my job requires me to run around and eat at odd timings.
The picture on the right was taken this morning. If you have been following my posts and stories you would know that I haven’t been doing any forms of weight training or cardio at all since September 2018. I just get on with my life and do the things that I love doing. The main difference is the use of ketones; understanding how I can benefit from being in a state of ketosis and learning how eating fats won’t make you fat. I intend to stay in this shape for as long as I can and I don’t see the weight coming back. I eat whatever I want to eat, whenever I want to eat and I never overeat because I know that I don’t need to deprive myself of anything. If you ever feel that you have given up on wanting to be slim I totally understand how you feel. Maybe you have tried everything and nothing seems to work, or maybe you have tried things that worked at the start but you gained the weight back because it wasn’t sustainable.
